But Where Are The Guitars Bert ????
Now that’s just funny……..how do you control humidity?…….or do the ribbons absorb water?
I won’t show my side of our large walk-in closet That I share with my wife…….all the cases for guitars, my guns, photo gear.
And then there is her sound equipment, mixing boards, Bose towers, speakers, mic stands, music stands, Chimes, washboard, Tamborines. ALL of the Patsy Cline outfits, etc., etc,etc……..That takes up another closet in “The Music room/ office…..Ahhhh, show biz !!!
Whoops…sorry about the spelling of the band,,,,but they were/are great
Dee and I are going to be in Glacier Nat. Park and Yellowstone the first couple of weeks in Sept.. When are you thinking of doing this??? That ain’t too far away.
What about digdog/Chris ?

June 8, 2019 at 7:23 pm in reply to: What impact can an armrest have on soundboard resonance and response? Find out #2416Carmello,
first let me say you have a very nice style and play beautifully …thank you for the small bit of “Take Five”. it is my favorite all time song and highlights your point well.
Yes. to my ear the armrest does enhance/improve the sound of that guitar….not by a large amount but enough to be audible.
I have Bose audio monitor speakers on my computer and they recreate sound well.
For me I don’t know if I would benefit from using one. I have very long arms for my size (5’10”) and very long fingers, some folks say I’m a bit monkey like. I don’t have a lot of forearm/elbow resting on the top of the guitar.
I brace with my little finger on the pickguard when I finger pick and so my arm is clear of the guitar.
However since I am always looking for ways to improve my playing and the sound coming from the guitar I will be looking into trying a arm rest.
Please keep us updated on how your arm rest reacts to the wood and finish of you SC over time. I am a bit of a nut when it come to my SCs and their well being.
Thanks again for posting on the subject….It is a nice benefit to our Forum.

Very cool Paul….you have a wonderful playing spot.

“Keep On Truckin Brother”
We always welcome those who appreciate the attributes of fine guitars, regardless of builder.
Secretariat or American Pharoh …..well I do tend to lean toward The first one as the greatest.
Tad.
I was hoping you would comment.
The FTC project is a emotional/sharing concept and I will eventually (after it returns to the herd after its travels) corral it here.
But when it returns I will be faced with a problem……my self imposed 5 guitar limit.
I can’t imagine parting with my Maple/German F…….I try to play all of my guitars at least 3-4 hours a week and ALL have very different voices. But…The F Cutaway seems to always be the first out of the corral.
The FTC will have to be of VERY exceptional sonic/tonal quality fo me to let ANY of the current Ramuda go.
I look forward to more input from the “Players In The Park”.
