      Tad.

I was hoping you would comment.

The FTC project is a emotional/sharing concept and I will eventually (after it returns to the herd after its travels) corral it here.

But when it returns I will be faced with a problem……my self imposed 5 guitar limit.

I can’t imagine parting with my Maple/German F…….I try to play all of my guitars at least 3-4 hours a week and ALL have very different voices. But…The F Cutaway seems to always be the first out of the corral.

The FTC will have to be of VERY exceptional sonic/tonal quality fo me to let ANY of the current Ramuda go.

I look forward to more input from the “Players In The Park”.

                Acoustic soul,
Wow, lot’s of life changes for you…Congrats and Fair Winds for the future.
Thanks for your input on the FTC.
I’ve had some preliminary discussions with Artisan Guitars and Carolyn regarding this.
I am leaning toward a Carribean/Blue Hole theme….maybe Maple maybe figured Koa.
The finish , I think will be a blue…..Which shade We have not decided….maybe a combo of shades, like the Carribean itself.
When I get ability to post pix back I’ll post a picture of a Blue Hole I dove in the Bahamas that would set the overall look.
The bling will be Paua and Coral and Pearl.
Still a few years away from building but I hope all will find interesting and wonderful sounding.

By the way……Who here can play the Dickey Betts lead on this ?
When I worked at Squaw Valley about 1973 we used to put batteries and a tape deck in our backpacks connect some earphones and run KT-22 nonstop to this song as we cleared the mountain at the end of a day…….”But , I was much younger then, and I’m older than that now. “
