Between my wifes PA system and rehersale gear and my guitars and guitar cases and guns and workout machines we are bursting at the seams now.
I guess I could plug in direct to my wife’s Bose Tower sound system But I think I’ll stay acoustic and just work toward my 45th anniversary FTC.Just a Note about strings on the guitars.
SC 1934, Martin and SC F….SCGC Mid Tension.
OM and H O.T. . SCGC Lite Tension.
ALL strings were put on guitars 3 months ago within a day of each other.
I would guess about 10-15 hrs. of play time on all sets.
The SCGC strings are well worth the money.Bert that is a beautiful Axe.
BUT I BEG Y’All Don’t Tempt Me with Electrics……Look what Y’All did to me when I discovered SCGC AcousticsThanks Mate……I’m still scared S-less at the thought of doing that again…….I like sitting on my back porch and playing for myself.

By the way your kids are beautiful….i haven’t seen a picture of your wife but I’m sure they take after her. !!!I don’t remember where or when (isn’t that the name of a song ?) I heard Eric play his interpretation of “Take Five” by Dave Brubeck. Without question my favorite song of ANY Genre. Does anyone know where I might find a copy of Eric’s version.
An OMG might be of interest to a lot of us. Something simple but elegant. Old Hog and Moon Spruce with Snakewood binding and SW Button tuners.

I will NEVER need another tuner…wish I had gotten one before this.
As I am only a mediocre player I try to use any trick I can to sound better…This will stay in my “little bag of tricks”Haven’t decided yet….will wait and see what R. H. suggests.
I have asked Carolyn to Keep a Visual theme of Ocean/Island/ Sailing as far as cosmetics and inlay material to be used.UPDATE…Spoke with Carolyn and I am Zorroing in on Maple B/S for the 45th build. She is setting up a time for me to speak with Mr. Hoover about his stash of Maple….. Nothing else decided yet.
I just have a “Gut” feeling that Maple is the right wood for an FTC.
