I ordered the Polytune clip on from Amazon yesterday.
Bert… CRS=Can’t Remember S—. But at least I can hide my own Easter Eggs.
Yep I liked Tin’s version better also…I’d play it but, I can’t remember the words ???
I’ll look into a Polytune.Bert…Thanks for reminding me of the harmonics method. That’s the way I used to do it….
The nice thing about C.R.S. is that everything old is “New” again.
I note from one of your previous posts that we are the same age…so I know you know what C.R.S. is.-

After reflecting on the project that I have proposed, I have come to “The
Slap In The Face” reality that on the 50th birthday of SCGC that I will be Damn near 80 when this idea will come to fruition….80 !!!
So…I am changing the program to commission the build to be a 45th anniversary custom FTC.
I still would like to have the Members of our Forum continue to submit thoughts and Ideas as to what the details of the guitar might be….But I’m going to talk with “The Maestro” soon to get his thoughts on this guitar and see what “personal Stash” of wood he might have now or is thinking about having in the near future.
As it is going to be an FTC I am leaning toward Flamed Maple as it is the “Traditional” wood for archtop guitars but I have to admit that Koa has some strong eye candy appeal. Would you Koa lovers please comment on the Sonic/Voice difference between the two woods.
Fair Winds,
HankSo…. As some of you know I’m “producing ” a CD that is currently in the editing phase for a vocal duo Called Smart and Sassy. My wife Dee and her partner Kathleen Peace. Of course “Producer” really means Check Writer (insert smiles and Love here),and today I went to the studio with my Remuda (except for the SC DA-1 which is for sale in TN.) to record my limited guitar prowess.
The purpose was to make a recording of each of the Remuda in as natural a voice as possible.
I have never been in a studio as “the Player” in my life but the recording session was fun and I thought I did not make a total fool of myself.
So I loaded up the guitars in the Jeep and headed back to home….there to find Eric Skye’s CD in the mail.
I loaded Ballads And Blues into the player and adjusted the levels and listened to one of the great guitar players of our time……I am now going to open a bottle of wine and drown my pathetic efforts at guitar playing in a sea of Cabernet. I am locking my guitars in the cabinet and will have to seriously consider clinical help !!!!-

Six. My current Remuda( the DA-1 is for sale) and a beautiful F Ziracote/German that I should never have let go.
I bought it from a wonderful lady who was on the “old” Forum.
Which brings up a question…when this edition of the Forum got going we could list our Herd(and I did)….then it dissapeared. Can we still list them? And Strings and Magwa And Sugermill Man ??
Welcome back Matt.
I always enjoyed your posts on the “old” forum.
We had hoped to connect with you and introduce ourselves at the 40th.
feels like “The Keymaster”is working hard to “Get The Band Back Together”.
