107 today.
back to the topic.
Tad, two Matts, Richard all live in California.
lets have a party.
I agree with you on the warmth. Since I’ve been playing a Tele with Harmonc Design Vintage Plus pickups, I am drawn towards a brighter sound these days.
thanks for the comparison video Mr. Soul.
I have SCGC strings on my Cruz and Merrill. I’m not stuck on any particular brand. I like Elixer Nanoweb, John Pearse, D’Addario, Ovation Cryogenic, and with the exception of Ernie Ball Earthwood and Aluminum Bronze, I have been happy with most everything.
I’ve seen the Bobster with the Grateful Dead, Rob Wasserman, Furthur, The Fare Thee Well shows, and next Tuesday will see him again with Dead Co. at the Hollywood Bowl.
Last year I had our local amp guru work on a friend’s Jet 12. A bit of internal work and a new speaker, Jensen MOD, and it was an amp I lusted after. It’s the perfect middle ground between a Tweed Deluxe and Deluxe Reverb with a spicy dash of AC 30. I prefer over TD and DR I am currently using.
well done Matt!

Crickets…
I have plenty of amps. My favorites are Fenders, especially Tweed Deluxe, Deluxe Reverb, and Princeton Reverb. Vintage or reissues, they are all wonderful. Every festival I go to has black Face Deluxe Reverbs.

I’m working on it.
I think it’s for the pedal steel player for back up vocals, but not entirely sure. I need to buy my own SM 57 and step up.

I am in two different bands. Our song lists have about 50 tunes total.
My current project is the Beatles In My Life on Weissenborn in Open D for a wedding.
last week the bassist and I learned Althea and Jackaroe. Chords are easy. Lyrics are much harder to memorize.
Friend of the Devil and Ripple are pretty popular these days.
Angeline the Baker two chords for jamming. I learned it from Daniel Nestlerode.
Deep Ellum Blues. Deep River Blues. Hey Joe.
I would love to.
I was sorry to have missed the 40th anniversary. At the 35th, Hayden and I got to play with Bob Brozman before his untimely demise.
