It’s a pretty amazing article – sales are WAY up. I read it and was trying to justify something on Reverb….maybe I’ll try to make the case to Beth again 🙂
Ask him if he’s worked with Lucky Strike redwood…..I have one top, and am curious whether or not it’d work. I tend to like spruce guitars, and I’m hoping that the extra stiffness and strength of redwood might be worthwhile.
Zorro, that’s pretty. Is it brown granadillo or red granadillo? The picture looks brown, but the internet, she lies.
I keep trying to thin the herd and concentrate on the good ones. And Old GFs who didn’t play or like playing aren’t in the picture any more. 🙂

Sycamore has a lot of damping. It needs a great builder to stiffen it, as SCGC has done. I’ll still take the old standards.

I have a couple of Caltons and they’re both great.
The most expensive one was a custom Mark Leaf back in the day. It was nice but it barely fit into my Toyota….

Beth likes my guitars but not all of them and the ones she doesn’t like either stay in cases when she’s home or get sold. Which is why my 1975 Bozo dread is out there for sale….
