Still only an hour and change away and about to go part-time for work, so I’m available whenever.
I just checked them out – they sound kinda fun.
Been taking mine out lately, too, and doing my pretend-joe-pass-played-acoustic thing.
The horror!
Ps I did find a charango with a back made of armadillo shell today.
Ovation au naturel…..
Plays great.
Not taking the place of my SCGC, though….

$4200 and it plays up to maybe the fifth fret; after that, all slide. Needs a full-stick neck reset (as is common with old Nationals). Don’t think it had a truss rod. Neck bow wasn’t awful but it might need a plane and refret after a reset to get it up to snuff.
Owner wouldn’t budge on the price – “I know what I have and I can wait for a buyer.”

Three on the tree, right? Man, what a truck….
A corset pattern 😀 ?
Still around whatever weekend works for everyone else.
I’ll be in Pescadero from Fri-Sun, and thus able to meet up in SC.
If this weekend doesn’t work out, I think I’m good through the first week of Sept.
I’ll probably be in SC or nearby the weekend of the 11/12th – staying up the coast for a couple of days.

That’d work for me.
Didja get it restrung? 12-strings do kinda take a while.

It’s a three hour tour for me. I’m nearby and can do with a little lead time. I’ll bring 2 SCs + the new kid. Tad, this is why you need a trailer…..

The wide Shubb is my goto for 12 string, and the pricing is very fair.
Thanks!
