        I have always loved Wes Montgomery and thought his live sets were wonderful.

        Have a taste. Damn fine guitar playing.

          Thanks Daniel,
          long time since I’ve listened to Wes. Back in the 60-70s I listened to him a lot, after he passed I just sorta moved on… ain’t that the life.

          Loved his opening conversation with the pianist… your piano is tuned, it stays that way for a long time. This guitar is in tune now but in 30mins… don’t we all know.   bert

            OhMan.  That is a portrait in time.  Swing to Latin back to swing.   The Camera work is artful as well.  And them white boys are Not to bad themselves.      COOL post Daniel.

              I’ve been listening to him lately – four on six, Impressions, and ‘Round Midnight.  I wonder whether he and Trane played together?

                …apparently they did at Newport 1961 but the recordings are hard to find.
