Cool find Tad. When I was hunting/haunting the Harmony arc tops the wood tailpiece came up on occasion and I believe from research it was a WWII period. Saving the metal for the boys. If you should decide to attach a pickup, I’ve got a spare detachable Pickguard with humbucker and V,T controls . Welcome to the club of cheap dreams can come true.

Interesting test concept but having a time hearing any difference . Might it help to be a little closer to the instrument?
The room eco seems to dominate the recording not allowing for the differentiating of tone between the pick sizes.
More light would be nice.
THX.
It does indeed MR Z. Through the last 20 years I ‘ve had the joy and pleasure of caring for quite a number of SCGC guitars. A few Sitka ,a couple Italian, two Koa and a couple of Cedar topped builds but never an Adirondack spruce top. This is the supreme majestic Adirondack cut in the 1930’s. WOW!!! Quasi Moto would be in bliss with the bell like quality tone of this ringer. Built in 2010. So it has had that quantitative time to develop its magic.
Back and sides are from the OLD STASH STUFF Mahogany that looks deep reddish and quartered beautifully.
The body back and sides are bound with the back-lit tortoise which has become a fave of mine since having the D LAW.. This baby’s tone rings clear and bold to the touch through the 4 1/2” sound hole.

One two 3
Very evident promise of a less than likely feedback issue will ever cause any problem Not that you’ll be facing the amp 18”-24” away . Nice demo Tad.! Is that the new building interior?.

Yes. I will almost always replace plastic bridge pins and sometimes ebony for Bob Colosi bone pins. I’d like to think it helps with improving the signal pathway for a better ring via the soundboard but it may very well be a placebo effect.
Nuts and saddles are a more significant way of changing the tonal quality but have never had the need with my SCGC guitars. Bone is already in place. I have noticed a very lively change when inserting Brass in place of bone or ebony at nut and saddle. It can be a interesting experiment on occasion.
Cobalt blue mug’s would look mighty fine with that logo.

Keep the home fires burning brightly your guitars playing sweetly and your family safe and warm.
Mele Kaliki Maka to you all.
Tall ships and tall tale’s. nothing less from a sailor. Thought they might be T-REX tooth flakes remanent’s
Oh yeah. That stuff. And they look nicely broke in…
What are the picks made of?
Very nice Tad!! Congratulations on your new baby Guitar. Is it the Tunnel 13 redwood?
I’m speculating that converting a 6er to a 12er is not going to happen without so=me serious FTC funds being used
BUT! You could very easily add 1 string and get a Roger Mc G—— 7 string. One string at a time. Haha

Another advantage to custom light’s, 11-52. Is that they more frequently will add a certain boost in the mid’s sparkle n chime which I like. Getting old is for whuusses. What dat……
