VERY NICE! I love it when old wood guitars and the right amount of TLC breathes new life into the old souls.
That might explain the lack of unoccupied space both in my guest bathroom, second bedroom ,closet space in the Master’s bedroom and many other morsels of space for my great lack of restraint on REVERB. Let’s not forget Mandolin Cafe!!!!!!!!
So much fun.

Especially enjoyed the Manfred. Man. What a story . Thanks. To all’s yuh.
Like only Steve Martin can do. A hardy chuckle
Reminds me of an old saying “be here know”. Baba Ram Das”. Acceptance of our ability’s or the lack there of. is a freeing feeling.. Strumming my six string… Have fun Hank.
Matt H. I’ll have to introduce you to my RUMBLE Gibson 2000 sj200 it does not lack any bottom ,mids or trebles. It has been with me the longest and serves as my crucible of tone for all other guitars

Because they have not yet felt they needed to .The lack of inquiries or demand as of yet ? There are the 3 other brands ,G, G and T that do.
I’m guessing that a SCGC RS made with spruce and their great quality German maple would be a bell ringer.
I know this from the D12 12string they made for me a few years back with that same combo. A few of the players here have played it maybe they’ll chime in. To this day I keep my eyes peeled for the VSD they use to make as a standard model..

Albert King.” Born Undera Bad Sign”. Been down since I began to crawl
If it wasn’t for bad luck, you know I wouldn’t have no luck at all
Hard luck and trouble is my only friend…Welcome to the SCGPF. Any relations to the Carr Klan in Philadelphia? . I think your on the right track with the OM build design with ADI/MAH. German might lend towards a little more warmth and responsiveness. You might also think about the OM/PW with the scalloped bracing if you’d like a touch more bottom presence and sustain.
Maybe line up a conversation with the Maestro Richard Hoover. All the best on your build
Very enjoyable learning experience. As you might have noticed Andy ,on the wall of oldies, posted above,is my 1956 Harmony Monterey. Solid spruce top and solid form pressed maple back n sides. My birth year choice.. The old arch tops are such charmingly endearing works of beauty. Thanks for your post here.
Way back in time. I remember that phrase so well
It could double as a sweat lodge with the correct amount of players. Sounds like a plan.
