Ok oldman I’m a lot like you are? Richard once made the suggestion of a H13 as a unique build platform for a 12 string. I’m in agreeance. Some of the master grade or sinker redwood atop some quilted German maple would likely be my choice as a starting point.. I think the redwood would tame some of the kingly jangly morning stuff.

I remember Alex with great fondness. A very gracious and friendly spirit . You would never had known the hardships he was going through with his cancer and treatment .
