While I am on the opposite end of the political spectrum from most of my friends on this wonderful Forum(and this is the ONLY time I will mention that), I am very pleased that we can unite in one place to share our love and enjoyment of Santa Cruz Guitars and those who play and build them.
While we can differ on the direction of the craziness of the world we can unite on the joy of making music with SCGC instruments.
I will never let something as silly as right or left get in the way of the friends I have made since I became involved with SC guitars.
Being at the 40th and meeting so many of you and the Crew of SCGC was one of the great experiences of my life….and I have been fortunate in my life to have a great many experiences in my 71 1/2 years.
Fair Winds !The Mids are starting to mellow…sound is warmer…better note seperation and sustain…..I’ll keep them on for awhile longer and see what happens.

Is that a FTC or F? Beautiful…By the way the Mid tension strings I put on yesterday are starting to mellow a bit….getting warmer.
AND……THERE’S THAT JACKET….I Don’t think it will fade in the sun Tad .Care to share your “Sins” with us ?
At first blush….I’m not pleased with the change.
The guitar has lost some of the “warmth/depth/note seperation that I love about the F model.
It is louder but not as balanced as with the lites.
They are new strings so I’m going to see if a bit of playing time changes my opinion.Happy Fathers Day Sonny and a Vintage Artist is a wonderful guitar…Welcome to the Tribe.
Any time I have needed a replacement value for insurance I have emailed Carolyn at SCGC . I have provided them the Serial # of the instrument and the have emailed me a “To Whom It May Concern” letter reflecting the current replacement value.
