As usual , thanks Y’all.
I loved R.H.s comment about “Gentleman Of The Season “….. Yoy Muy Simpatico.
All who play an instrument from the SCGC shop, regardless of year of build, always get the best that they can give.
I’ll be 77 in Jan., If I’m around in 3 years please send me an invite to the 50th Mr. Hoover. Maybe I can get a deal on a 50th anniversary model to add to the Ramuda .
Thanks Tad but I have rethought….. Realized I was just tinkering with perfection……Never Mind !!
Just watched. Wonderfully talented player and song writer.
Richard, love your Native American vibe jacket
This was the year I started my life on the salt in Fl.
Jimmy in his accenssion.
posted this before but Daniel’s wonderful playing inspired me to do again.
Dee really makes the song work……
Very solid beginning. Please post again when you like it .
I have alway envied those who play well with others.
I agree with dwarfrat. Get with Tad… give that SCGC Dread a taste of the night life .

Hank.
I just played the Golden videos for my wife……She asked “Why can’t you play like that….you have been playing for more years than he has ?”…..
Really wonderful guitar player. May be one of the most complete players I’ve ever heard.
AND he is the prime example of the silken web that is the SCGC instrument…..one touch and your doomed .
Thaanks, Big Mon and Tad for bringing to us.
Thanks DigDog and Big Mon……..You’ve just given me a bit of the map of the Rabbit Hole of Alt. tunings……this will demand more Irish Whiskey to fathom .
One of the things I enjoy most….and the SCGCPF members do best… is understanding the indivdule parts of the total equation that make up a SCGC instrument.
I have had the privilage of playing with some of you and private messageing with others.
I have asked for advise from a good many of you when I have contemplated a build from RH & Gang.
When it comes to thoughts and real world experience with the woods of Santa Cruz Guitars Y’all are 2nd to none.
My small Ramuda consist’s of some very special tone woods and create some VERY exceptional tone ….tone ‘s not the right word…..The video is a better discriptive…But I spend many an hour with my right ear bent over the sound hole absorbing the sonics and flows.
But I have always known that Matt H,, Tadol, Chris Carr ,Richard Newman and Hassome have understood the subject of what I was looking for in a particular build……To Y’All…..It IS ALL about the wood……well, and 6 steel strings.
Ah, “The Old I need More Room For The Drummer” excuse……I would remind you Tad that we have all seen pictues of that space before……..And I am very envious.
Ahhhhhh…The positive and year around Central A/C Provided by FPL…..Except during Cat 5 Hurricanes.
Thanks Daniel….Good Read.
gotta link Matt?
