Looks like Very Good Pickin Country. Found any locals to play with ? Are you close to Martin Factory?
Daniel, It must seem so Primative to France…..Do the instruments sound different ? Maybe a bit less Arcadian ?

Well Done to ALL involved…..Thanks Richard , Tad and Brandon.
No Worries.

Eric, I have had a DADGAD set( changed twice) on my SCGC 000…….I don’t even think about tuning other than what they were designed for….. Richard Hoover is pretty finite about what he sells.

April 20, 2023 at 11:29 am in reply to: Santa Cruz Coffee Break #55 Zoomin with Rhett Henry Baxter and Radio Ranch #8161Dee & I are big fans of all that Carolyn & Gerard do , both their work at SCGC and their wonderful acts.
Would love to see them on “Coffee Break”.
Whatever happened to the Coffee Break Mugs ???
IMHO…..Put a strap button in the proper place and play the Hell out of it ….sitting or standing !
SAAWEEET….Nice sound system also……
Nice stuff……Best to Richard Hoover
Big Mon is right…..Unless we see Pix , it ‘s just dream talk. But Enjoy & Congrats.

Bright, Jazzy (with the Elixers) and yet well rounded notes…..Sounds like a wine snob……
The guitar was built in late 2000 and has aged wonderfully…….A true keeper.
I like spam… but I ain’t Spam….what happened?
OH MY Matt….That’s right in your wheelhouse….might be a bit large for the camper though.
I’m at 8 sublime and very different guitars….i do believe Im done.
BUT….. I AM willing to trade (for a limited time) one of my Ramuda for a SCGC 12er.
I REALLY would like to A/B the Taylor K62ce against a SCGC 12er before I sail over the Horizon.
Tad, If you would like to swap (not sell , not trade) any of my Ramuda for about 3 months for your SCGC 12er we can both pay 2 way frieght and enjoy the others best…..This offer is open to any of ‘The Players In The Park” and also any long time members of the SCGCPF ….. I’m insured for replacement value through the great Heritage Insurance and would suggest that Y’all do the same if interested in the above.
I think there is a very solid core of SCGC players/owners that might be able to enjoy each others designs/voices in a respectful/and responsible tranaction.
I would also like thoughts on ways to support and increase the $$ value of Pre-owned SCGC instruments. The FMV of our favorite is Absurd in the pre-owned universe….
