      Matt….That’s a wonderful catch.

      40 years ago I bought a mid 1960’s 000-18 from a shop in Chicago…..sold it for a roof on a cabin…..still miss it.

Play the songs of the years of your guitars birth………at 40 years old It will sing out clear.

The Kingston Trio is why I bought my first good guitar…..Too many of my influences are leaving.

              RIP Bob Shane.

                    Yesterday is behind….

Well the THE MARTIN….Matched with : Croce, Goodman, Buffett, The Byrds.

I guess 27 years of aged EIR/Sitka , thousands of hours of playing/holding/traveling……….makes for an old friend who has a great voice…..a voice that brings back lots of memories,

Reflections /Revelations : I have a fine Ramuda of guitars in both voice and  visual……… and I’m starting to get the hang of  playing them……I can begin to bring out their individuality.

REALIZATION : I still have so much to learn…….compared to Y’All.

And somehow …I picture the group posting on this topic as “A Band Of Merry Pranksters”….Not Hobbits on a journey to Mordor.

Your ears and audio perception are WAY beyond me……..If  a guitar/string combo gives me audio pleasure….I accept it and “Play On”…..but then I’m old enough to accept the world “as it is”.
