BD thanks! I think we can use the workarounds to keep everybody happy. It’s our goal to make SCGC more accessible to a wider audience, maybe we’ll make some new friends and learn a little more about each other, music and great guitars
That’s not all of them, she walked away with everything….ah California courts in the early 80’s…I miss the LP’s, the Tele’s the Strat, the Special, The Firebird and the Bassman the most……I don’t miss the Martin, awful guitar, I’m glad she got it
I’m relaying this info to Tad, he’s the God of Facebook
Bert,
My ex…my 59 and 60 LP, 52Tele, 36 national, 57 strat, 59 bassman 63 WHITE SG special, 67 Tele 71 D-35 63 Firebird 1, this is not the entire list, I wonder when she’s gonna pop back in my life…thanks for the memories

June 20, 2021 at 1:11 pm in reply to: Questions about original bridge pin and neck up guitar support concern #5910Good Morning Robert,
Thanks for checking in here. If you have emailed SCGCF, they will get back to you, rest assured. SCGC should be able to provide you with a Bridge pin. Bridge pins are a pretty deep rabbit hole, We’ll ask Richard on a podcast his feelings about them, I’m sure it will be enlightening. I’ve been around Eric’s #1 for about 8-10 years, I haven’t seen any finish damage from it, just my experience. Thanks for jumping in, I’m sure you’ll get some answers.
Bert and Hank,
I understand. Let me assure you that there will be “Forum only” special events. We put a ton of time into the Forum and we want SCGC to get the most visibility for these efforts. Tad and I had a very difficult and productive work sessions about 5 weeks back and what we came to was that Facebook was a necessary evil.
Please check out and like the page on YouTube is you would, all of the video podcasts are there

I’m sorry for my shortness the other day, Tad and I had been putting in 10 hours a day on this project for a week, we were excited to share.
Hope you all enjoy
Stop hoping. In order to see the Facebook page, you have to be on Facebook….if you want the ride, you got to buy the ticket….not our rules
Sweet!
I offer up the Happy Traum interview….I was sold on only short scale as well, but the H-13 with is truly a special design and guitar, the bridge placement, the deep body…pure magic
Welcome Hulme85,
Thanks for speaking up. It’s an interesting topic and it’s open for discussion. Being an H-13 owner the magic in the guitar is the bridge placement and the scale length. And teh new HT-13 is simply stunning in sound and appearance.
Again, welcome, thanks for joining the party

Nice Bert…thanks…I didn’t know Maple Street had a branch in Australia
Welcome Barber….I LOVE every word you said…thanks for joining in
and you can’t really expect a kid to color between the lines. I think the internet confuses this, in reality, the more guitars of all types that you play, the more you refine what your looking for. My motto: Ears, Hands, Eyes
Jelly,
Waverly all the way, no mod’s should drop right in, your local luthier should be able to do it, but it’s just turning a screw driver….if you want to sell those black tuners, drop me a message
