The universe apparently has a sense of humor.
Yesterday’s ride found a bent, backwards, slightly squished 10mm on the side of the road. Go figure. The universe is telling me to adjust my truss rods.
I also have no idea how to use this – I’ve never seen a 1/4” to 1/4” female coupler, though they must exist, otherwise this would be useless.
If this keeps up, I won’t need Christmas this year.

I’m going to play on the front patio when the weather improves.
Daniel, we can still ride on the creek trail, but with distance. It’s my saving grace and I stay away from other people.
i can’t wait for this to be over – missing playing with people fiercely.
Never heard of Art Bell but I’m digging deep now.
The universe is out there….
Did some things at new wineries in Healdsburg/Dry Creek. Gorgeous places, amazing rooms. I’m hoping they weather tho storm; I would like to play them again.
That might – I will check it out. Thank you! 😀
They have many of them. Some are available in no cost PDF and several can be downloaded from academic libraries.
if you can’t find any, LMK and I’ll send you copies as long as you promise to ship them back when you’re done 🙂
Completely. As Kathy Wingert noted on Facebook a couple of days ago it may be time to drink.
If Beth weren’t asthmatic, I might indulge otherwise as well, but smoke makes her cough….
Stay well, everyone.
Historical note: O’Carolan, greatest of the Irish harpists, once was feeling low and was told by one doctor he could not drink, and so he took to his bed and prepared for the end. However, another doctor, Dr. John Safford – of Planxty Safford song fame – gave Carolan a receipt, what we’d now call a prescription, for whisky, which got Carolan out of bed and composing a tune for Safford in no time. So we all need a blanket receipt for whisky, I think!
….Though a dark and stormy is hard to beat in Florida 🙂
They’re considered so bc of the medical marijuana function. Dispensaries not under that rubric aren’t considered essential.
We should have a long-distance conversation at some point. It’d be good to see you again….
Stay in place in CA is weird, but we’re getting by.
You’ll be amazed – test the different positions and I’ll bet 3 is the one you like most, Sounds amazing and packs up small for travel.
> With modern low-wattage, low-power amps you can get tones that 20 years ago were only possible at anti-social volumes.
This is true. These days I’m using a 1965 Deluxe Reverb for a lot of stuff and using the preamp switching tools and TAD/TAC power tube adapters to use 6AK6 tubes in place of 6V6s (Daniel, these will also work on the Ampeg). It’s about 1 watt but that’s still plenty loud – 102 dB using the JBL D120 and about 101 dB using a C12N speaker. It’s all the tone in a package that isn’t out-of-control loud at all.
And it’ll handle an acoustic with a good pickup as well as a telecaster…..
