The best artist podcast so far…..What an interesting “Cat”. there is an old blues soul in that man.
My first introduction to him was the SCGC 40th show………Blown Away is an understatement.
He was just Plain Flat FUN.
Great Show Tad and Richard.

Just arrived….so I’ll pour a Guinness ( using the proper technique of course) and enjoy a lunch time pint…….Yep, on days like this retirement is a good thing.
The image above was taken by a gentleman here in S.W. Florida when our first “Cool” front came through a couple of days ago
The formation is called a Kelvin-Hemholtz wave…… I wonder what kind of sound they might make in a SCGC guitar.

My 30,000 thousand foot mountains move from east to west every day during the rainy season. The thunder booms and the lighting bangs…… and I get to play the rhythm of the tropics….and remember my years in the west fondly.
Santa Cruz FJZ-17 Archtop Guitar
Oh yea…. I remember this now…. I think it has been mentioned here before….whew.. I’m safe
OH NO….I just bought a FTC…..Somebody tell us what a FJZ is …. I CANNOT AFFORD ANY MORE G.A.S….. I REALLY CAN’T !!!!
Not Yet…… The Fretboard journal is the only hard copy publication I subscribe to…… It is a high quality print magazine….It just feels good in my hands.
I think what we all are saying is…..if the artist is sharing his emotion with the song and that ‘groove’ is being transmitted to the listener then we will reward the effort ?
I love your album…..and despite your recording technique on this , you are the standout.
I always tip a bit more if the player is in tune ,the voice on key , the amplifier at a level that suits the venue. Effort to be involved with the music and the crowd is always appreciated with a bit extra gratuity.
I agree with Chris….The audio from Her end was pretty good.
I also like Mucho the story of how the artist came by their Santa Cruz guitars and why they specked them the way they did……their conversations with Richard ,Etc.
As usual it’s a good investment of time viewing the podcasts.
It will be interesting to see how far up the food chain of artists you can go .
Would LOVE to see how you might handle O.T………It took me awhile when I was buying his SC H-13.
