I was most pleased with the sound of the 12 fret slot head I owned. I prefer the sound of Mahogany.
Thanks.
I’ll keep a lookout on Instagram.
Any news about this?
When I got my first OM, a Cruz, the songs started to flow.
I contacted Tim In SLO. He commissioned his Dread Cutaway about the same time I did. His was the Florentine Cutaway, mine Venetian. As far as I know, it was the first Florentine. The second was the one Jerry Garcia played on the cover of Frets Magazine.
That guitar was sold by Amazing GraceMus8c in San Anselmo. The owner still remembers that guitar.

I just sent her info for D cutaways #97 and 98.
I spoke with Chris a few weeks ago.He let me know what was up.
Fare Thee Well, brother.
Last time I saw Weir was August 1st, Golden Gate Park.
I try to stay positive regarding this Forum. When I see new Cruz owners other places, I encourage them to join up.
As for me, I’ll stick with it until they either bury me or burn me.

The Cruz is what’s known as a“Smoking Hot Deal!”
Some 20 or more years ago, my Brooklyn friend Todd Stuart Philips commented about the 45 abaloneĀ inlay and how it removed enough wood to alter the tone by providing “Toasted wheat underpinnings”.
That phrase became famously quoted.
I have a Blue Chip, Charmed Life, but still rely on Tortoise shell and Prime Tone.
I gave a Blue Chip to a Mando player, and broke 2 Charmed Life.

Lighter fluid aka naptha has many uses.
I use SCGC polish every few years. Otherwise, a soft. clean washcloth moistened with water.
I clean the fretboard with a new scrubbing sponge or clean washcloth.
I don’t have the acidic swest problem
