Hi All, here is a snap of the inside of my T13/Mhog OM from late 2020. I have both a personal question and one for the forum… Firstly, on a personal level, can anyone identify who signed my guitar and give me a quick idea on how they fit into the SCGC family? And secondly (for everyone), what does this tell us about our guitars? Is this person the ‘head luthier’ on our order? A sound board expert? Did he/she adjust tone and have unique skills in this area? or were they simply the last person to glue the damn thing on? (this last question is for comic value). Thanks guys!

i only know who was voicing scgc tops before 2015. whoever it is, it’s likely the voicer of your 2020.

There’s an old video on YouTube showing an SCGC master luthier tuning the top then signing it. It’s very well done and pretty much answers part of your question. They have a specific process (or series of goals) for top tuning so the results should be roughly the same, regardless who signed it. I believe one of mine has two signatures.

It looks like it might be the sanskrit mantra Om (or aum)?
