      Hi Larry:

Sorry I wasn’t able to attend the grand opening, but I’m happy to hear it went well, and I’ll look forward to your next event.

      regards,

      Luke

Great podcast.  I’ve always admired the quality of Eric’s recordings.  Now I know how he does it.  Thanks.

I did enjoy the behind the scenes look.  During your discussion of the vespel material with Scott, I was hoping you would ask him how he was able to get around the patent held by Blue Chip, and still be able to market his line of vespel picks. I often wondered about this.  Do you happen to know?

          Regards, Luke

Nice podcast from the perspective of a retail shop.  As Tad said in the podcast, you are living the dream.  Much success with your new shop.

I had the pleasure of meeting Catfish at the last NAMM show, but I was not familiar with his music.  Thanks for doing this interview.  He is a very humble, down to earth person, and a monster player!

In the past I had asked Richard if he would consider building guitars with EVO fret wire, and his answer was no.  Has he changed his stance on this?  Would he consider it as an option now that SCGC has become a custom shop?

Very nice Zoom podcast.  Great to see all your faces.  Hope to see more video podcast in the future.  Thanks for the hard work you put into these podcasts.

Thanks Richard and Tad. Very cool.  What was the name of the bluegrass group that played at the end? Nice fiddle player.

What an honor to use my sound clip for this episode!  With all the great players on this forum, I feel truly humbled that mine would be selected.  Another great interview.  Thanks.

Hi Matt:  I’m getting the Waverly nickel open tuners with ebony buttons.

Thanks Daniel.  I like the vintage look of those Rubner tuners but I decided to stick with ordering the Waverlys because of their long history and familiarity.

Thanks Bert for the tip on Schallers and Gotohs.  I asked the person who is building my resonator guitar about the Gotohs, and he couldn’t find the SXB510.

Thanks to both for your opinions on the need to lubricate or not.  Since there was a slight difference of opinion, I gave the “Mother Ship” a call.  Carolyn said that they recommend using Tri-Flow oil, but only when the gears feel a little hard to turn.

                                Hi Paul:

I didn’t realize that the old website had inventory held by SCGC dealers.  Thanks for correcting me.  I guess the only way to find out is by contacting the dealers.

Look again, its there.  On the left hand side of the home page, fourth line from the top, titled “Just Shipped”.
