Much appreciated, thanks Rich.   bert
Congratulations Paul, sweet OM.   bert
Creative people like Rick have a special place in this old world. Sad to hear of his passing.  bert
Looking good Paul, love OMs… you’ve got the stars lined up pretty well.
best regards, bert
Congratulations Tad, what a beaut.  bert
Backs are always hard to photograph, the front makes all the statement you need. So very happy for you and as Bro Ray Charles used to say ‘you got the right one baby.. uhh huh’  bert 🙂
Best wishes Danny, sometimes you have to hang in there until things work out.  So glad to hear of your good fortune.

Rich, you know the place. Little Richard was the first big name from Macon, he was a mess to say the least but holy cow could he get a crowd jumpin. This pic was from the time I was checkin out the Allman Bros in ~1969:

Led Zep flashback… I went to see them live in the early 70s at the coliseum in Macon, GA.
Macon has a significant musical history, we used to go to Central City Park on Sundays to listen to the Allman Bros play before they were discovered, Duane & Greg Allman, I thought Berry Oakley on bass was the most impressive, he was a huge talent.
Otis Redding was also from Macon, went to his funeral. Still think that ‘Sittin on the Dock of the Bay’ is forever a classic. 🙂 bert
Happy B’Day Daniel, have a large time this weekend. bert
Rich, thanks for your efforts to keep the forum afloat in these times.  bert
The demo that Matt did of the guitar was so impressive. The note clarity is as good as they come or better. You’ve got the Guitar of the Year Award in my book.
Huge congratulations Hank. Look forward to your follow on comments.  bert
Good stuff,
Hank, +1 on Stephen Stills
Daniel, Hot Club of France is always on my playlist. Django Reinhardt was so special, I may have all of his recorded music. ‘Two fingers lightning’ 🙂
Daniel, smooth jazz touches into so many diff genre. Wes Montgomery was my first guitar hero in the 60s.. Both Eugene Groove (euge groove) and Boney James have cream of the crop guitar players in their music groups. Sting is one of a kind, he definitely moves around in smooth jazz.
We had a smooth jazz radio station here in the Atlanta area for a few years. I had that station on all the time but they couldn’t make a go of it and went under. It broadened my music interest greatly. Bet no one here has ever heard of Praful.
