I’ve had 2 D12’s, they are fantastic. I was stupid to sell the first one. I also have a 1934 D Hog and a D African Blackwood. I don’t find the tones similar between any of them. The D12 is a much rounder sound. I have an RS that i’ve listed for sale, it is a fantastic guitar but i prefer the D12.
Thanks for the replies, I have a D with African Blackwood and it’s just killer.
On the RS do you think i’d be better of with Italian Spruce or and Adirondack top? Definitely looking for more a cannon with huge bass.
Thanks for the responses. How does the RS fit in to the equation? I’m guessing being a 12 fret it may be more of a cannon. I have a D12 already so would that be redundant?
Maybe i’ll throw on another set and just see what happens.
It is brand new, i’ve had it for 4 months.

I don’t see an email yet?
Thanks for the response. I want to make sure i make the right choice since SCGC guitars seem to take such a hit if you sell them. What would the Brazilian or the Hog model go for on the used market if they came up?
