Splices and stacked heels

Hi All

Question for SCGC or maybe a podcast question… How does SCGC feel about neck to headstock splicing and/or stacked heels? Do they use either? Or one piece necks only?

I personally don’t have an issue with either practice, but particularly in the modern era of preserving dwindling precious old stock woods, splicing and or stacking makes sense.
