A couple of nights ago we had an Irish couple to dinner at our house. After My “world famous chicken enchiladas” and Dos Equis beer, I pulled out the SC OM. I was doing a bit of finger picking /strumming and my Irish friend said ” I have been looking for stereo speakers that sound like that guitar.”
Turns out he is an audiophile of some renown in Ireland and is looking to buy some high end speakers for his home here in Fl. He mentioned the name of some Danish or Swedish speakers that cost in the several thousand dollar range.
He could not get over the tone/balance/depth of sound on the OM. So…..I pulled out the 1934, the O.T and then the F .
He stated that he had never heard guitars from any other builder that produced the sound of an SC.
Says a lot about our favorite guitars.
