          I texted him about paying a visit to compare my Brazilian Sitka #97 with his EIR Sitka #98.

              I hope to see and play it Saturday.

              His guitar is #98. Mine is #97.

              They are in a SCGC ad from that period.

              I haven’t figured out how to post the ad yet.

                      Tim and I met up. In spite of the visual differences between my Brazilian#97 and Tim’s #98 EIR, a blindfold test would be a crap shoot.

                      Both our guitars have Sitka tops, likely from the same tree.

                      I had Mediums on mine. His had Light.

                      Both D’Addario.

                      Tuned down to D minus, the bass was more grand piano like on mine.

                      Tell your friends they can get a vintage, played in Cruz Missile for a decent price.

                              The Guitar was sold to a gentleman in Georgia. I asked the seller to have the new owner connect with the Forum.
