  Martin Carthy and Norma Waterson, parents to Eliza Carthy and leading lights of the UK folk world, are struggling to make ends meet. Apparently Waterson has been ill and neither have been able to perform since the pandemic started.
  
  Damn. Now I feel like a heel for whining that I’m too busy to play.
  
  Here’s hoping Martin and Eliza’s winter tour is a huge success and thhat they stay COVID free.
