        looks like our Acadian/Cajun Brothers are going to  take a BAD JuJu hit…same prayers to all the gods we hoped for Y’all in California……been a a bitch of a year.

            The storm surge is just huge. The wave reports are wild – a friend is a biologist who uses shrimper boats as a way to get into the gulf. He said the waves were ad enough that no one on the boat wasn’t sick, and that was a couple of days before the ‘real’ storm hit.

            The good news: New Orleans people are moving to higher ground if they can.  Hoping it’s better than last time.  My musician friends in NO have all their gear in storage out of town now, above flood water expected levels.
