We are Thankful ,here in the Golden State, for finally getting a good strong dousing of  Oh The Wind and Rain.  Oh yes and the Sierra’s vigorous blanket of snow base 3-10’ overnight. Eat well and be joyful.

I told my 5 year old, who has never had a Thanksgiving holiday, what it is.  He said, “How do we say it in French?”  “Bon Thasnkgiving!” I replied.

We had a very nice Thanksgiving in Berkeley, with a number of family with us, unfortunately a few had colds that they didn’t want to spread to the grandparents, so with fewer than anticipated, we’re going to be in leftovers for a lot longer than one would hope –
