Had a gig last weekend in a garden in a small village near Soissons, France. The village is called Septmont (7 hills) (pronounced SEHmon).
The house was the original prebytery of the local church, and it was built in the 16th sentury, and it has a tower with arrow slits! (The north east of France has a long history of conflicts with soldiers ranging far and wide. Chirches often because places in villages where the whole community, animals included, could hole up, defend, and hope to wait out a passing military force.)
I posted a video and some photos to FB https://www.facebook.com/DNN12/videos/289236430475584

My daughter is singing with me in the video.
The day was HOT, 93 degrees F. Which isn’t much for a summer day in the central valley of California, but in the north of France is nearly debilitating. I changed shirts 3 times: set-up, gig, and post gig! Indeed we decided to play in the garden because it was the coolest place to set up. 😉
