I won’t show my side of our large walk-in closet That I share with my wife…….all the cases for guitars, my guns, photo gear.

And then there is her sound equipment, mixing boards, Bose towers, speakers, mic stands, music stands, Chimes,washboard, Tamborines. ALL of the Patsy Cline outfits, etc., etc,etc……..That takes up another closet in “The Music room/ office…..Ahhhh, show biz !!!

Darn thats good looking!  I have been wrestling with the reality that I have guitar cases piled up everywhere, and I need to cull things down some – pretty envious that you can get that much goodness in such a consolidated and accessible space –

And that’s not everything.  There were two small amps behind me as I took the photo, and I’ve got three guitars at the local luthier.  My mandola-uke and a pile of mic stands are in the cupboard on the right.

It helps keep the cases clean..   My once every 15years stairwell light bulb fetcher..   Iknow. Some day it will be used appropriately

Paul, I was going to mesh a finite element model and do a little analysis of the structure but just decided to eyeball it… plumb she goes.

z, the guitars are hangin vertical on the walls so I can ponder the vibe for the moment.

It’s excellent.  And there are more than one – there’s the one at his warehouse, and the one at his house.  SO MANY GOOD GUITARS.

All y’all are so neat with your guitar collection.  Daniel’s seen my collection (I’ll post a picture later) and it’s not a jumble, but it *is* a spare bedroom with limited wall space, a couch, and bunches of acoustic guitars, basses, amps (including 2000 watts of bass amp that I do not need), mandolins, baglama sazes, and assorted electrics.  Plus at least two or three empty cases and a stash of gig bags.

The cat thinks it’s the best place in the world.  Lots of soft places to sleep, and as a kitten, he was in there with me and Daniel and Tad playing in a circle, and it’s become his favorite spot.

I am so glad to see others having to store guitars in showers and wall shelves –  I was afraid it was just me!

Living room floor –  this is what gets me in trouble, when my wife wants to have guests over, and I can’t find places for all the guitar cases –

No pics of the shop though –  have to take those tomorrow –

Now I don’t feel so ???? OCD  acoustically .  Mine are everywhere and One in the barn to keep the horses happy.

Well, we actually did a small addition to the house, that why I get 2 closets!

I’ve been meaning to sell a couple, and there is at least 1 empty case.  Guess this is the time to get started. Time to read thru Reverb policies –

It’s hard when a number of these are sentimental keeps – they’d never go out to a gig, and I usually pull them out and play them when I want to remember the people or circumstances around them coming into my life. Maybe I need to let some of that go  –   having just lost my dad and needing to decide how much of his stuff I can hang onto, this may be the best time to start dealing with it all  –
