Dee and I have spent several hours this afternoon working on some songs together. Songs I play fairly well by myself  and she likes to do with me.

I noticed that if I play a song (say St. James Infirmery ) on the 1934, then play the same song on the O.T. I play it a bit differently. When I play (say Oldest Surfer On The Beach) on the OM I play it with some different hammer ons or slightly different fingering than if I play it on the F .

I hope I’m letting the guitar tell me how to let it sound it’s best.

        Anyone else do this ?

Absolutely… even down to triangle, teardrop, jazz, or rounded blue chip pick or 35 thickness vs 50 (.8 vs 1.5 mm).
