        Hi friends.  Thought I’d share this for folks local to my shop in Southern California and for those who will be in town to attend this year’s NAMM show.  We are a 10-15 minute drive from the Anaheim Convention Center, which houses the yearly winter NAMM trade show.  Because of that, we like to host events during that week when many of our favorite guitar builders are in town.

        This year, on Wednesday evening, January 21st, we are hosting a Celebration of the Santa Cruz Guitar Company – 50 Years!  Richard Hoover will speak about Santa Cruz’s “greatest hits”, Brenda Martinez will give an introduction and help to moderate the evening, and two great Santa Cruz artists will perform:  Adam Traum and Catfish Keith!  This event is free and open to the public, but please let me know if you would like to attend as seating is limited.

              Just to circle back here.  We had a great time!  Unfortunately, Richard was not able to attend.  But Brenda (who rocks!) and I hosted the event, and we had individual sets of music performed by Adam and Catfish, plus they played a few songs together.  We had a nice turnout.  Super fun event, as part of a very busy NAMM week!

                      HERE is a video that Teja filmed from the front row, of Catfish and Adam performing “You Got To Move”.  Teja posted this on Peghead Nation which is where the link will take you.  Unfortunately, I don’t have too other good videos of the event.  Lots of photos…
