I like my SCGC mahogany dreadnought with a nice Bordeaux (red):  St. Emelion, at least 5 years old.

          🙂

            Good choice Daniel.

Any other Wood/Whiskey/Wine pairings suggestions from the group ?

              Got another…

There’s a video of me out there playing the song I wrote for my daughter.  It was a Covid video, shot live in the dining room, and features interuptions from my son, Rémy, who was 5 or 6 at the time.

I’m playing my Arrow G5 5 string mandolin acoustic (sans amp) and there’s a glass of whisky in front of me.  I would have been Oban, 14 years old.

So there you go.  Arrow G5 spruce on maple with Oban.  🙂

                    Peace, Walter

I have never “named” a guitar…. But Hoover, Sills and Fox came up with “Guinness”… Tuned to DADGAD forever. !

By The way…. I was taught to draw the “Perfect Pour” at Sean’s Bar in Athlone, Ireland…
