Jerry Miller was one of three guitarists in Moby Grape. With his Gibson L5 and Tweed Twin, his jazz influence was essential to the brilliant song writing, arrangements, and vocals.
His solo at the end of this song was my first exposure to jazz guitar when I was 12.
Some of the Grape members ended up in Santa Cruz. Their album, 20 Granite Creek, reveals the Cruz influence.
Gigs at the Catalyst and Chateau Liberte were common.
