SCGC strings vs Elixir

I have had good luck with both. My OM had the low tension Cruz for almost three years. I found I could  easily tune seen to C Standard and the low string was still robust. At CGDGAD, DADGCD, DADGADand D Standard the tone and playability were more appealing that regular E Standard.

I finally had the B string break so I put on the Elixir lights. I lost the power of lthe low string and found the lower tunings gave me a flabby, wet cardboard sound on the low string.

I have a solo gig on the 15th and am craving 2 sets of Cruz strings for my Dread and OM.
