With out question the most interesting , enjoyable , enlightening , etc.,etc. podcast Y’all have ever done.

If there is an Academy Award for Podcast this is a Hands Down Winner….Thank you so much Y’all.

I communicate with John on a regualr basis and he was one of (along with Tad and Richard Newman and others) that I consulted with in planning the 000. In fact it was the 1920’s Martin 000 Style 45 that John features in TDIII that I had Carolyn and Richard H. use as a Homage.

John told me about The Guitar Detective last year upon the first edit…..I have given him my order for the 1st edition. He says maybe by end of this year it will be available.

He is a very gracious and giving man who has great stories to tell.

Excellent podcast.  John is so engaging and seemingly has an inexhaustible supply of wonderful stories.  I loved his book and I’m looking forward to the next one.

Here’s my quick Wish List for future episodes:

Carolyn Sills and Gerard:  I’d love to get their perspective not only about working at SCGC, but also what the last couple years have been like for them as professional musicians.  I know Carolyn has been on, but I still think this could be interesting.

Someone from Calton Cases.  Why a flight case is useful and how they do it.

A longtime SCGC luthier/employee just to hear what brought them to SCGC, why they continue, how Richard imparts his philosophy.

            Richard Hoover… always and anytime!

            Thanks for the great content!

Wonderful engaging podcast !   John hit the nail on the head about GAS,         Learned some new tricks for slipping in a few more acoustics haha.  I received The Devils In It. From some friends during a very rough time earlier in the year and what a pleasant and enjoyable read it was.  A very needed distraction.   John even signed a personal note in the book for me.
I could listen for hours about his travels and journey while writing the book. Should you read the book first or see the movie first.  MR Stubbings is so animated and joyful to watch and listen too.
