I just lost my dog last week who was my very best buddy, so I’m arranging a sentimental version of — Redwood Tree by Van Morrison. I’m also playing:
Oh My Love, John Lennon

Just added Marti Jones’ 1985-ish song “Crusher” to the list at a friend’s request. INteresting tune; she’s rewritten some of the lyrics to make it work better.

I am in two different bands. Our song lists have about 50 tunes total.
My current project is the Beatles In My Life on Weissenborn in Open D for a wedding.
last week the bassist and I learned Althea and Jackaroe. Chords are easy. Lyrics are much harder to memorize.
