I’d like to recommend:
<span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>Clapton’s Guitar</span> by Allen St. John
It’s about Wayne Henderson and the construction of a guitar that EC ordered.and
<span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>Guitar in America, Victorian Era to Jazz Age</span> by Jeff Noonan
It’s a scholarly book, but not too long and well worth your time and effort.Daniel

That is a good read. It takes the reader into Wayne’s shop and home for an intimate look.

Read the Brooks book years ago, great read. I also met him at the Healdsburg Guitar Festival and had a chance to play the guitar that he had made by Running Dog.
I’d love to get my hands on the book “The Devil is In It,” but it seems to be a limited run.
