I have a beautiful Firefly in excellent condition that I’m thinking about selling/trading and wanted to list here to see if there is any interest. I’ve recently acquired 2 Santa Cruz guitars… this Firefly and a 1929 OO customized with Beeswing Mahogany. I play quite a bit live so I’ve to go ahead and keep the OO and see if I can trade this Firefly for a bigger body SCGC guitar (open to any larger scale options). Heres is the info on my firefly with some pictures, sale value 12k, trade value 13.5k.

Recently found out through communication with SCGC and Dream guitars that this is in fact Tier 2 Brazilian rosewood back and sides. I had previous email confirmation that it was Tier 1 cut in the 1930’s, but it was a mistake.
new replacement value per SCGC is $18,175.
I’m dropping my sale price to 10.5k and trade value to 12k.

Good lord that’s pretty, and I’d be happy to consider a trade. But…
My 20 year old player’s grade mahogany dreadnought is nowhere near the value of that little firefly. And I do not have the cash to make up the difference.

Would definitely be interested in a trade deal for a players grade dread, would just need the cash to make up the difference 🙂
Did a little fingerpicking on the Firefly tonight and man is it boomy! Super sensitive to even the slightest touch.
