Seems like it defeats the purpose of learning any individual technique of actually 'playing'.  Guess I really am a dinosaur, but I'm a more satisfied one than the temporary buzz this thing would give.  if it is so great, why aren't they flying off the wall racks in ral music stores?  Just my $0.02 worth.

this isn't a guitar and the inventor explicitly says so.  this contraption is a guitar shaped computer that conjures up electronic sounds from a digital storage box.  cool for a midi interface but is it music? sure it is, electronic, sampled to simulate the sounds familiar to all of us - nature and analog instruments.  great design, terrific execution of a user interface - but a guitar - no way - no how!
